Heartiest congratulations to M. Miduna (Grade 12) of SNM Kammavar Matric HSS, Sivakasi for winning Second Prize in the State Level Boxing Championship 2025–2026 held at Theni.
Our Students accumulated numerous accolades in the Inter-district Taekwondo Championship-2025. S. Amrutha Sachin Ingle achieved Gold Medal at the district level and our school clinched the overall championship title at the district level. Our Management Committee commended the students for their sincere efforts.
P. Karthick and P. Arun Akshaya were highly appreciated for their exceptional achievement at the State Level Gymnastics Competition conducted by the School Education Department.
SNM Expo-25 was presided over by Dr.Chellathai Subbaraju and it was jointly organised by the departments of Science and Humanities where creativity of students find its expression. The Management Committee and other dignitaries witnessed the exhibits and admired the enthusiasm of students and appreciated the teachers' efforts.
Educationist Shri. S. Sitaraman Sir's 15th Memorial Day was observed in our school campus. The dignitaries reminisced the examplary life of the man who dedicated himself for the cause of education. The management committee and other dignitaries paid floral tributes.
M. Shri Hari has achieved District Level Third Place in Triple Jump of Under-17 Category and was felicitated by the Management Committee.
SNM Career Guidance Cell organised a guest lecture for the students of Std XI and XII on the topic "Succeed with entrepreneurial skills". The chief guest and the Resource Person was Mr. R. S. Selvakumar, a successful business tycoon. The Secretary of our school, Mr. M. Venkatesan felicitated the chief guest in the esteemed presence of the Principal, Ms. S. Selvi.
Our students Shivakarthikeyan and Hariprasad of Class XII participated in the Silambam Competition held under the Chief Minister’s Trophy at the district level. With their outstanding performance, they secured first prize and a cash prize of ₹3,000 and have been selected to state level.
Students of 10th and 12th attended a special yoga session on 20th September, 2025 marking "World Peace Day". Meditation enables the soul to attain peace in a world replete with chaos and violence.
Teachers' Day was celebrated in our School on 4th September, 2025 honouring the teachers of SNM for their relentless efforts and unwavering commitment towards the enlightening the student community. The management committee felicitated them with gifts and sweets.
A special eye examination camp was conducted at our school campus on 20 and 21 of August, 2025 in collaboration with Dr. Anilkumar Eye Hospital in which all the students were examined by a team of opthalmologists and extended their noble service.
79th Independence Day was celebrated in all its fervour and honour in our school. Students performed various cultural events radiating the true spirit of patriotism.
SNM Career Guidance Cell conducted a career guidance programme on 12th August, 2025 for the students of 10th Standard and higher secondary commerce group students. Renowned Chartered Accountants, Ms. K. Chithra and Ms. Shilpa Surana were the chief guests and Resource Persons who elucidated career paths available for commerce group students.
Over 140 students of standard VI to IX demonstrated their culinary expertise enthusiastically in "Cooking without Fire" competition conducted by SNM Science Club on 9th August, 2025. The Treasurer of our School, Mr. S. V. Sankara Narayanan adjudged the students' cookery skills and appreciated the young chefs.

Parent-Teachers Conference was organised as two sessions - Forenoon: Standard X and XI; Afternoon: Standard VI to IX - to pay heed to parent's mind and express the school's expectations both directed towards the hollistic development of the students.. The management committee was present and gave a patient hearing on both the sessions.
SNM English Literary Association conducted Spell Bee Competition for the classes VI to IX so as to elevate and appreciate the language skills of the students.
A great moment of Pride.. Our illustrious alumnus S. Gokula Kannan was felicitated for his remarkable feat of cracking Civil Services Exam.. He cherished the memories of his school days and went down the lane of nostalgia.. He inspired the students with his words of wisdom and cleared the students' doubts regarding the Civil Services Examination.
Our students participated in "Prides 2025", an interschool cultural competition conducted by The Sivakasi Lions Matriculation Higher Secondary School. S. M. Santhosh Kumar of XII B secured 1st Place in T-shirt Painting Competition and 7 students of VIII std. won 2nd Prize in "Fashion Flix". All the winners and participants were lauded by the Management Committee.
The Department of English organised the inaugural ceremony of "English Literary Association" for the academic year of 2025-26 on 27th of June in the presence of dignitaries from the Management Committee. Dr. B. Ajantha, Assistant Professor of English at Sri S.R.N.M College, Sattur was the chief guest.
International Yoga Day was observed on 21st June 2025 with students performing various yoga poses under the guidance of yoga instructors..
"World Earth Day" was celebrated in our school with Drawing and Poster Making competitions on the theme "Ending Plastic Pollution". The competitions are judged by the President of our school, Dr. R. Subbaraju and the Secretary, Mr. N. Venkatesan
